Quick Client case

Hey Guys,

I wanted to quickly share with you a case with a client.

I've been working with this client for a while and they have gotten great results dropping over 20 pounds. However recently their progress stalled and despite adjustments they stayed at the same weight. After I rechecked everything I asked them to keep a food journal for a week to just double check things.

Recently the client had changed jobs and in the new office it was the culture to have more coffee due to the fact that the new workplace had a complementary fancy coffee machine. Now I generally tell clients that having 1% milk with tea and coffee is fine and it's only in very rare circumstances that I take it out.

It turns out that the client was having 6-7 milky coffees a day. They didn't mention it as they checked that the milk was 1% and they thought it was ok. However even with 1% milk the calories add up! It turned out that the client was taking in an extra 600-700 calories a week just from the milk!

So we limited the number of coffees that they could have a day. Results soon followed.

The moral of this story is that if you suddenly have a stall in your results, make sure you take a close look to make sure nothing extra is slipping in!

Thanks to Mark for letting me share the tale.

Stay Healthy,

Mike
