The term 'Professional'
Hey Guys,
Today I want to talk about the word professional or 'Pro' as it's known in combat circles.
It seems that many people choose to jump to this level before they actually contemplate what this actually means.
When you turn pro, you are making a decision to act like a professional at all times when representing your sport. This means that you are now a role model, a spokes person, an ambassador AT ALL TIMES! This means that you should be acting like a god damn professional athlete and not some douche that just showed up. If you are unclear if you fall into that category, then if you display any of the following behaviour then you indeed are a douche and should have long conversation with yourself.
Do you;
This post is not directed at any one individual but a culmination of repeated events on the whole. However, on the whole, combat sports is full of passionate, dedicated people that deserve that chance to be a professional and earn a living doing what they love.
Stay healthy,
Mike

Do you;
- Miss weight?
- Get drunk at the venue?
- Slag the promotion or promotor off on the internet?
- Blame your coaches at any point?
- Not wear your sponsors brand as you feel Dre Beats
headphones say more about you as a fighter?
- Show up late or ANYTHING?
- Fail a drugs test?
- Tell any fans that you don't have time for them.
